Beginning of Session:
Each session begins with an overall evaluation of the individual. I note the emotional and mental state, areas of disconnection within the body, and body posture and imbalances. This informs the intention for this session, enabling me to determine the primary need and entry point to the system and what techniques would be most beneficial to regain improved functionality on all levels.

Changes You May Notice After a Session:

  • Alleviated muscle soreness

  • Reduced tension and restriction

  • Increased range of motion and enhanced movement

  • Body re-balancing and re-alignment

  • Improved nervous system regulation

  • Improved overall well-being

Not only do you see the benefits listed above, but this work is all about injury prevention.

It is about helping you and your horse to THRIVE, not just survive.

Integration after the session:

Allowing adequate time for the body to integrate the changes after a session is extremely important. During the session, the body receives information it now needs to assimilate and learn how to “own” new capabilities or ways of being. Disrupting this process may cause losing some of those benefits. I recommend that the individual is allowed to rest and move as they see fit for the rest of the day. If we are addressing serious concerns, please allow additional time for this process as it not only happens on a physical level but also impacts the emotional and mental health.

Frequency:

How frequently would I like to see my clients? The short answer is: it depends. I see most of my clients on a monthly basis. This allows time for integration and the change being made not only within the individual body parts but the whole being. If we are working on a deeply impacted system, I do recommend more frequent work but this is determined on an individual basis. I also take Veterinary and medical treatments into consideration.

A regular wellness program is highly recommended and will have the most beneficial, long-lasting impact.
